Decluttering + habit building - How does it work?

Let's talk about how decluttering helps you build the right habits.

 

Right now, I'm completing a closet decluttering challenge with clients in the Designed 'N Aligned program.

 

Your closet reflects back your beliefs about your "best self".

When you believe your best self is in the past or somewhere in the future, your closet becomes cluttered. A cluttered closet often creates feelings of shame or guilt sending you head first into self-sabotaging thoughts and actions.

 

Decluttering your closet will help you find peace with yourself so you can build a habit of choosing what will allow you to thrive.

 

Allow me to illustrate.

 

By clearing the clutter in your closet, you will identify your signature style.

You'll learn your best colors, cloths, and cuts. This will become a guide as you curate a wardrobe that makes you feel like your best self.

 With your signature style in mind, you'll fill the space with more clothes (as needed) to complete your look.

 

Enter habit #1: wearing what feels good consistently.

 

Every day, you will wear what makes you feel like a rockstar.

In your new wardrobe, you'll get compliments on your clothes, hear how your appearance is glowing and how your energy just seems "different".

You'll stop feeling like your best times or bodies are in the past.

You'll start loving yourself and embrace the clothing and style that gives you confidence.

Finally, with more confidence, you'll crave more experiences that reinforce this new way of being.

 

Enter habit #2: spending your time and money on what allows you to thrive.

 

Turns out your clothes didn't just tell you what you love to wear, they tell you what you love to do and how you love to do it.

In as little as 6 months, you will:

- lose 30 lbs. by regularly doing your favorite exercises.

- find 4 to 6 hours per week for hobbies you've longed to create time for.

- funnel thousands into your debt payoff or building a business.
